Privacy Policy
This policy covers the information Tyler TX Tree collects, why we collect it, and who receives it. Tyler TX Tree is a referral website operated by The Gadget Aid, LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("we," "us").
Information you send us
The request form collects:
- your name
- your phone number
- your town
- the type of tree work you choose and how soon you need it
- an optional note about the job
- your consent checkbox and the time you sent the request
Phone. This site doesn't have a phone number yet. If we add one, calls will go to the tree service company we refer requests to, and our phone provider may record basic call details (the calling number, the time and the length of the call) so we can confirm referrals. We'll update this policy before that happens.
Site visits. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It doesn't use cookies or follow you to other websites. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security.
We don't collect payment information, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
How we use and share it
- One company receives your request. We send it to one independent local tree service company so it can contact you about the work you asked about. That company may call you. You agree to this when you check the consent box.
- We keep a copy to confirm referrals with that company and to handle questions or complaints.
- Service providers deliver form submissions by email on our behalf.
- The law. We may disclose information when the law requires it.
We share your request only with the one company it goes to and the service providers that help us deliver it. We don't sell it, and we don't give it to other companies for their marketing.
No texts, no marketing. We don't send you text messages or marketing. The tree service company's own privacy practices apply to what it does with your information.
How long we keep it
We keep referral records only as long as we need them for the purposes above, such as confirming referrals and handling questions, and then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop sharing future requests. Email [email protected] with "Privacy request" in the subject line. That inbox belongs to us, not to the tree service company. If the company already has your request, contact it directly to ask it to delete your information too.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date shown on it.
